Impressive long-range layered mountain views, hiking trails on the property, an expansive yard where kids and pets can play, and sunsets from the hot tub are all part of what makes The View a delightful cabin for a memorable mountain vacation.
Step inside and enjoy the panoramic views from the windows surrounding the main living room, plenty of comfortable seating, a gas log fireplace, and a flat-screen TV. The tongue-and-groove vaulted ceiling and hardwood floors give a warm cabin feel to the space. The adjacent kitchen has granite countertops, new appliances, a dining area with searing for nine (9), and four (4) seats at the kitchen island bar. Just beyond the main living area, through closable glass doors, you will find even more windows with mountain views and plenty of comfortable seating in the cozy den. The den has an additional table with seating for four (4) for extra dining space or a game table for entertainment. Guests will inevitably be drawn to the main level deck, where the impressive long-range mountain views will be the backdrop to an evening cookout on the gas grill and outdoor dining space or a dazzling sunset in the mountains. Wander downstairs to the second living room and a game room with shuffleboard, a small ping pong table, and a dartboard. Warm up on winter nights with a fire in the woodstove and a friendly game. The covered lower-level deck is home to the hot tub for a complete mountain vacation experience.
There are hiking trails on the property, a large friendly yard for kids or pets to play around, a horseshoe pitch, a cornhole game, and a fire pit for outdoor fun and games!
The spacious cabin accommodates sixteen (16) guests. The master king suite on the main floor has deck access, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. Additionally, a second king bedroom with a TV and a third queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom are on the main floor. Downstairs are two other bedrooms, one queen with a private bathroom and a kids bunk room with two double bunk beds.
Amenities at The View include Wifi, a washer and dryer, central heat, air conditioning, two (2) Smart TVs, and two (2) TVs with cable or satellite programming.
The View is pet-friendly for up to two (2) dogs. The driveway is paved, long, and inclined with level paved parking with space for four cars comfortably. The garage is also available for guest use.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is a short three (3) miles from the cabin, Tweetsie Railroad is only four and a half (4.5) miles, and just six (6) miles away, guests can be in downtown Blowing Rock in less than 15 minutes. Appalachian Ski Resort is six (6) miles, and Boone is less than ten (10) miles from this cabin, making it a perfect spot to enjoy all the High Country has to offer throughout the year.
