Dan and Mariana: The following summarizes our feeling for a great family week at the villa. The villa was everything as advertised and the location was a short walk to town. The villa was very nice. We loved gathering in the kitchen, sitting together for meals and games at the large table. Having 4 bedrooms that each had private restrooms was nice. The pool was always clean and relaxing. However, the best part was the people. Dan was a gracious host. The people he works with are amazing. We hired Susan de Lima to prepare a Mexican Fiesta upon our arrival. It was the best meal we had all week. Oscar (TipTop Tours) made our trip amazing by taking us on a day trip to the ruins in Tulum, Coba, a buffet lunch and to swim in a cenote. Another day he took us to Xel-ha. He handled all of our ticket purchasing for every venue. He even took care of our airport transfers. Oscar made our vacation smooth and easy. We had a wonderful stay at Dan and Mariana’s house. It was huge and homey feeling - and the pool was divine. We appreciated the recommendations they provided on taxi and shuttle services as well as their help finding a private chef - Tona - who cooked two meals for us there which were both excellent. Definitely recommend doing some private chef dinners alongside visiting the local restaurants - all of which we throughly enjoyed and many were in walking distance or a short cab ride as well as the beach. We can’t wait to come back to la Playa and would not hesitate to return to this home!

We had a great time here and loved everything about our stay. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We had a large family with young kids and toddlers. The house was equipped with a highchair, booster seat, pack and play crib, etc. The living area and pool were great for everyone to be together and have fun. We we're excited to find beach toys too! Dan and Mariana helped answer all our questions ahead of time and got us in touch with the right people. We loved our tour guide, Oscar, who took us to Chichenitza. He taught us so much and was so patient with our large group. The maids were great also! The location is also great and perfect for what we needed for our family vacation.

The house was excellent! Five minutes from a quiet, white sand beach and 15-20 minutes walk to ferry, shopping and food. The bed rooms were spacious and comfortable, number of bathrooms was great, and kitchen made it easy to make your own meals. The backyard w pool and rooftop deck were so great that we spent 2 days of our vacation at the house! Can't say enough about Dan and his communications and support.
