THE PROPERTY: Chick-A-Pea is a traditional Key West cottage that has undergone a complete renovation. The charm and historic features have been retained, while all the luxuries of today have been added, including an amazing little private pool!
On the first floor, a great room opens to the pool / patio. This room is adjacent to the new kitchen. There is also a half bath and full size laundry machines.
The property is fenced and the yard is private. Once you are inside the yard, you will never know you are just steps off of Duval St.
The Truman Suites are just a few houses away as well, so you can rent them all and be close to friends and family.
Cable TV and Wi-Fi are included.
BED CONFIGURATION: There is a master bedroom, with king bed and full bath, on the first floor. Additionally, there is a half bath and a small bedroom with single bed on the first floor. The second floor has two bedrooms and a shared bath. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a queen bed, the other upstairs bedroom has twin beds which cannot be converted to a King. The bathrooms were completely rebuilt during the renovation. All the mattresses are new. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room for an 8th person. This is not a private room.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES: The best feature of the house is the heated pool and cabana. There is deck space around the pool that is great for sunning. There is a propane grill for outdoor cooking. The pool cabana is covered and has a sofa and lounge chairs…. This is the perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail or nap!
PARKING: There is a designated off-street parking spot for one car.
LOCATION: Old Town, North of Truman. A majority of the tourist attractions are located here as well as numerous restaurants, shops and galleries. The neighborhood boasts historic homes, shotgun and conch style homes.
NEARBY: The Ernest Hemingway House and Museum is seconds away, Mile 0, and everything Duval Street and Key West is 1/2 block away.
PETS: This home is dog-friendly. One (1) dog allowed, up to 40 lbs. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. All vaccinations up-to-date. Please be advised some breeds are not permitted.
