WHALE WATCH BEACH RETREAT - AMAZING PRIVATE BEACH!  Enjoy the sweeping view of Haro Strait with Vancouver Island in the back drop from the three expansive  decks.
 
This is a great property to watch the whales go by or to launch your personal kayak. With its private beach, spacious grassy yard and media room you will not run out of activities here. 
 
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and overlooks the dining area as well as offering a great water view. The dining table seats 8. 
 
The master bedroom encompasses the whole 3rd floor and has its own seating area with electric fireplace. The master bathroom is open to the bedroom so you can still enjoy the expansive view. The other two bedrooms are located on the main floor on either side of the entry hallway and share a bath also located in that hallway. One of the bedrooms also has a cozy daybed.
 
The living room is adjacent to the dining area with very comfy seating and equally stunning views of Haro Strait and Vancouver Island. The living room is equipped with satellite television and a DVD player to gather around the cozy armchairs and large couches.  
 
Downstairs boasts a cedar wine cellar (Bring Your Own Wine) with a hip tasting-table that seats two. The lower level media room has a large flatscreen TV for the Satellite TV or to watch one of the many Blueray DVD’s that are provided. This media room also has a fold-out couch, kitchen and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Wireless internet is available throughout the house and all of the levels have outside seating on the deck to enjoy the beautiful sunset here on San Juan Island's west side. Book quickly, this one will fill up fast!
 
Fire pits are not for guest use from May 1st-September 30th due to San Juan County seasonal burn ban.

Very Comfortable House with amazing views

Large well equipped house. Lots of space to spread out. Bedrooms are large, big tvs, direct TV, comfortable sofas. Big decks, steep stairway to the beach. We were there in chilly November and the house was as warm as we wanted. Kitchen is well stocked. House was clean and checkin/out went smoothly. A few small things might stop us from staying again - the house furnishings are well maintained but getting very dated, there was a PS4 but no games for it, we weren't allowed to use the main floor fireplace or the large home theater system in the basement (although there is a large TV substitute). These are small things though. We would rent from this company again but might try another house first.

This is a great home! It has tons of space, comfortable beds, and a beautiful kitchen. But you can't beat the view!!! Lots of yard, they updated the steps to the beach since our last stay making it much easier to get to the beach. We saw a family of otters a couple times - one even ventured up to the lower deck. There was also a seal and heron in the bay. We had a lot of smoke from the fires on this trip, so missed the great sunsets and often couldn't see very far at all, but despite that it was still a great week! We can't wait to come back next year!!!
