Hidden from the road by a winding driveway through high casuarinas, you will enter through the secluded courtyard into the main house which boasts an open floor plan, twenty-foot cathedral ceilings and huge mahogany French doors opening onto the sixty-five-foot long private beach deck with views of your private dock, landscaped beach garden and the crystal clear waters of Hoopers Bay where your can swim and interact daily with the sea.
The main house features custom built state of the art kitchen with high end appliances, wine cooler, ice maker, marble counter tops, and a pass-through window to the deck for outdoor dining or to just sit at and absorb the view. It is fully equipped with everything you would want to find in a kitchen and includes a walk-in pantry. It is perfect for anything from preparing holiday meals for a large family to seasoning your fresh catch with herbs picked from your own courtyard garden after a day on the sea.
Both the dining room and the deck offer handmade dining tables that seat ten, panoramic views of the ocean and easy access to the kitchen.
The large master bedroom, with private deck entrance and hand made king bed, offers views of the ocean and dock, a large closet space, Smart TV and a custom en-suite bathroom with free standing tub. You can wrap up a day of snorkeling or fishing on this beautifully furnished epic decking, while watching the sun begin to set before retreating to the deck with a cocktail to finish off the final moments of daylight.
After dinner you can close the night out on the deck or sink into the oversized, overstuffed handmade linen sofas and arm chairs in the living room and enjoy a movie on Netflix, read a book, or just lie back and enjoy a killer view in the comfort of air-conditioning after a day in the sun.
The Loft, our young and fun addition to O’Sea Beach House, offers three built-in twin beds and an elevated secret hideaway inside the main house. Imagine an indoor tree house with a bird s eye view of the living and dining area through large secured windows. It is accessed by a interior staircase just off of the kitchen and is served by a full bath at the bottom of the stairs.
We have made doing laundry as painless as possibly by equipping our large laundry room with high capacity, quick-as-a-flash washer and dryer. The windows, when opened, catch the most fabulous flower scented cross-draft imaginable. So, fabulous in fact, that you may start looking forward to laundry day.
Stroll through the landscaped courtyard with herb garden and discover two additional private en-suite bedrooms with king beds. Both have cathedral ceilings, walk-in closets, and coral stone bathrooms.
O’Sea Beach House has central air-conditioning in the Living, Dining, Kitchen, Laundry and Loft areas and each bedroom has its own mini-split air-conditioning unit. There is wireless internet, satellite TV, and 3 Smart TV’s.
Provided with the house is escort from Georgetown airport and check-in at the house, paddle boards, kayaks, sun beds, umbrellas and beach towels. It is recommended you rent a car for your stay and there is ample parking, and exclusive use of the private boat dock.
You can rent your own boat daily in Georgetown through Minns Water Sports to cruise the stunning Stocking Island marine park, hang out at the famous Chat n Chill beach bar with its pet stingrays, volleyball court and fresh conch salad stand! Stop off and take a hike on Stocking Island or snorkel the reefs of the bluest water in the Caribbean! Look out for dolphins; we cannot promise they will be there but there is one that comes to play by Chat n Chill often! Take excursions to swim with nurse sharks, feed iguanas or visit Thunderbolt Grotto. Golf is available at the Sandals Emerald Bay resort course just a twenty-minute drive from the house.
We are happy to help you set up in-home appointments with our fabulous massage therapist and yoga instructor, Lyn, assist you with boat trips to Stocking Island for Chat N Chill’s Sunday pig roast and excursions to the famous “Swimming Pigs”. Prime Island Meats, also known as “Ronnie’s” is two minutes away with the best selection of meat, poultry and deli products on the island. The local liquor store CNK, just up the road, has a great selection of beers, wines and spirits.
Great Exuma Island International Airport (GGT) is easily accessible on direct flights from Nassau, Miami, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, and Toronto, Canada. There are several flights from Nassau to Exuma daily. Private plane charters can also be arranged.
